A guided walking tour telling the history of the Cheonggyecheon, the little river with a big story!

Our guide will walk you along the stream sharing stories from the beginning of the Joseon Dynasty up to present day. Come and listen to ghost stories, explanations of ancient customs, tales of diplomatic trifles, economic advancement, social revolution, and starry-eyed dreamers.

Take a walk with our guide and listen to grave tales of noble rulers, dethroned kings, and doubtful corpses. Along the way, you’ll also learn about the parts of the tombs, the funeral customs, the traditional hanok house, and what common Korean snacks used to be reserved for nobility only.

Come hike through Yongma Moutain’s woody trails that wind through scattered tombs and mysterious clearings until we reach the old abandoned amusement park where your inner child can come out to play! Come roam in the same infamous park that’s been the location for several K-pop music videos and K-dramas. Consider it a risky, unregulated playground for brave and adventurous adults!

Interested in the Seoul Fortress wall but not ready to dedicate an entire day to hiking many, many kilometers? That’s ok! Spend a few hours with us and we’ll take you over the first portion of the wall while telling you all the interesting facts and amazing history of the entire structure. Dinner time tour! Join our guide at a restaurant that predates the Korean War, serving foods with a 1,500-year history. There you'll learn about the culture of “anju” while you sample foods and unique beverages from the farthest corners of Korea. Then, with your whetted appetites for both food and history, you'll snake through the winding alleyways of Ikseon to try a little youth-culture fun and drinks. Lastly, we'll finish up at a restaurant serving the kind of food every Korean office worker has eaten this very week and we'll learn some of the modern-day eating and drinking cultures of Korea, along with a few games! Norebang (Karaoke) experience optional.

Lunchtime Tour! Come down a narrow alley in an old marketplace. There we will find a restaurant run by the same family for generations. They make by hand and serve the spiciest cold buckwheat noodles imaginable. These noodles are a must-try for anyone who is enthusiastic about spicy food. This place is not easy to find if you don't speak Korean, and not so easy to order, but going there is very worth the trouble. Let our guide do the hardest parts for you, and in addition, tell you about the history of Korea's buckwheat noodles, and explain the proper way to eat them. After the meal, you’ll walk around the old marketplace, visit the traditional medicine and herb market, and try a few surprising snacks, if you’re brave enough!

Drama-loving guests will be taken to a few filming locations of hit K-Dramas as well as their personal favorite dramas (requests encouraged). Come take pictures where the stars have stood, and sip a coffee on set in a telegenic café. To really make a scene, we’ll take you to some places that allow tourists to dress like the era of the shows and walk around engulfed in the mood of those dramas. (This can include hanboks at palaces, especially the smaller ones where filming often occurs, or in late-19th and early 20th century clothes in the Jongno area, and also 60s -80s clothes in the old-town areas.)

Send yourself on a day of beauty enhancement complete with facial massages, skin treatments for your specific concerns, personal consultation on Korean skin care products, as well as options of getting hair, nails, make-up, and styling done at the same salons used by your favorite idols! You tell us what you’d like to do and we’ll arrange everything and be by your side through it all.

Note: The cost of the beauty treatments are not included in the tour fee as each guests personal selections will differ. Consultation on pricing and recommendations within a guest’s budget are available.
