First, we will meet at Seolleung station and learn about the very short history of the Gangnam Area, the youngest part of Seoul.
Then we will walk over to the park where the tombs are sequestered away from the rest of the city.
We will take a look at the tomb keeper's house inside the park.
Then we will move on to the history center where we can see timelines of the King's and learn more about the construction of the tombs themselves. This tiny museum building is only in Korean, but we'll translate everything for you, don't worry!
Finally we will visit each of the massive tombs in chronological order while we also participate a little bit in some traditions and learn about funeral and memorial culture in Korea.
